Ralph W. Robison, 95, of Brownstown died at 3:25 a.m., Friday, January 22, at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 1, at Liberty Christian Church, Brownstown with Jim Dann officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31, at Liberty Christian Church and for one hour prior to service time on Monday. Memorials may be made to the Liberty Youth Group, Liberty Cemetery, Lighthouse Pregnancy Center or Smile Train. Gieseking-Claggett Funeral Home, Brownstown is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ralph was born on Saturday, February 14, 1920 in Sefton Township to Homer and Ruby (Arnold) Robison. He married Louese Pearson on May 9, 1942, and she preceded him in death on March 24, 1998. He was a member of Liberty Christian Church where he had served in various capacities over the years including as deacon, trustee, and treasurer. He was a life-long farmer. He also served as the treasurer of the Brownstown Volunteer Fire Protection District for many years. He loved hunting, playing his banjo and especially his family.

He is survived by: son, Bill Robison and his wife Elvera of Brownstown; grandchildren, Josh (Jalana) Robison and of Effingham, Luke (Holly) Robison of Brownstown, Erin (Joe) Klug of Brownstown, Renee (Jon) England of Sullivan, Shawna Cole of Bethany, Kyle Stobel of Palestine and Kurt (Sheila) Strobel of Maroa; great grandchildren, Caitlin (Brandon) Garrett, Danielle, Michael, Kendra, Kaitlyn, Ellyana, Wade, and Annaka; sister-in-law, Margie Pearson of Enid, OK.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughters; Gloria Lash and Jeanne Strobel and her husband Virgil; brother, Russell Robison and his wife Elizabeth; brother-in-law, Wayland Pearson.
