Pauline Elizabeth was born on September 5, 1932 in Thomasville, Missouri, the daughter of Delmer David and Francis Margaret (Perkins) Fry. She was united in marriage on September 24, 1951 to Bill M. Oliver, and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1999. Pauline retired from Jansen’s Department Store where she worked for over 20 years and was a member of New Hope Church in Effingham. She very much enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and friends, working around her yard, and all that life offered. She was always ready to try something new and treated life as an adventure. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all that knew and loved her.

Pauline is survived by one son, Paul Oliver, wife Jean, of St. Charles, Missouri; grandsons, Ryan Oliver, a student at Trinidad State College in Trinidad, Colorado, and Alex Oliver, a student at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Oliver; and four siblings, Ruby Nichols, Everett Fry, Richard Fry, and Eugene Fry.
