Frank C. Miller, 70, of Ste. Marie passed away at 5:00 PM – Thursday, January 7, 2016, in rural Ste. Marie Township, Jasper County, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM – Tuesday, January 12 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, Illinois with Fr. Robert Spriggs and Aaron Miller officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ste. Marie, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the Jasper County Cancer Fund P.O. Box 333 Newton, Illinois 62448. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.

Frank was born on January 18, 1945 in Wynoose, Illinois the son of Charles Emery “Ich” and Katherine (Thomann) Miller. He married Barbara Dion Rennier on June 19, 1991 and she preceded him in death on September 6, 2013. Frank retired from Verizon after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Shiloh Christian Church in rural Willow Hill, Illinois, NRA, Modern Woodmen of America and attended St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, Illinois. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed riding his side by side ATV, hunting, fishing and target shooting. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include 9 Children- David (Donna) Miller of Champaign, Illinois; Michael (Linda) Miller, Moberly, Missouri; Aaron (Lisa) Miller, Iron Mountain, Michigan; Jeannie (Jarrett) Johnson of Newton, Illinois; Tim Miller of Olney, Illinois; Tom Miller Olney, Illinois; Lori (Chris) Long Dundas, Illinois; Mark (Michelle) Rennier, Newton, Illinois and John (Jodi) Rennier of Willow Hill, Illinois...Grandchildren- Veronica Miller, Lorianne Miller, Troy Hawes, Johanna Miller, Abigail Miller, Lydia Miller, Talitha Miller, Samuel Miller, Benaiah Miller, Blake Johnson, Brooke Johnson, Harley Coffey, Morgan Miller, Miranda Miller, Lexy Long, Ethan Coleman, Dylan Long, Wade Newberry, Edythe Rennier, Lelia Rennier, Dalton Helmbacher, Elaina Lindemann and Larry Rennier...Great Grandson – Jethro Coffey...Siblings- Joseph (Jean) Miller of Noble, Illinois and Margaret Cathey of Tennessee...Mother-in-Law Mary Dion of Chesapeake, Virginia...Brother-in-Law – Delbert “Red” Nettleton of Noble, Illinois...and Sister-in-Law – Karen Miller of Noble, Illinois.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Judy Nettleton; and a brother Jim Miller.
