Carla Jane (Hannaman) Worcester, 45, of Newton died at 6:28pm Monday, September 3, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM – Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL.  Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton, IL.   Visitation will be held from 1:00-4:00 PM – Friday, September 7, 2012 at the funeral home.  In loving memory of Carla, memorials may be made to the Carmen Worcester education fund.   The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.blakefh.com.

Carla was born on April 26, 1967 in Effingham, IL the daughter of Carl E. and Jane Clara (Krone) Hannaman.  Carla was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and had owned Worcester’s Wearable’s and What Nots on the square in Newton, IL.  Carla was a 1985 graduate of Newton Community High School.  She loved being a part of the Newton Marching Eagles as a member of the rifle corps and had fond memories of traveling with Miss D.  She loved music and her laughter couldn’t be mistaken.  Carla was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Newton.  She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening which she learned from her mom.  Above all her joys she cherished most of all spending time with her daughter Carman.

Carla is survived by: Dad – Carl Hannaman of Newton, IL...Daughter – Carman Worcester of Newton, IL...Step Son – Devin Worcester of Stoy, IL...Sister – Jennifer (Chip) Campbell of Bossier City, LA...Nephew – Luke Campbell of Bossier City, LA...and Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Carla was preceded in death by her mom; infant brother Keith Hannaman; grandparents Henry and Bethel Hannaman and Adolph and Loretta Krone.
