James LeCrone, 64, of Effingham died at 9:55am Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at his home.

Celebration of life services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Christ’s Church, 2511 Veterans Dr., Effingham, IL. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 3, 2012, in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be given for the special needs of the LeCrone family. Jim was born on December 8, 1947 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of William E. and Lois June (Ruff) LeCrone. He married Debbie Deters on September 21, 1985 in Shelbyville, IL, and she survives. Jim was a member of Christ’s Church in Effingham, and past president of Effingham
Lions Club. He was a mentor for Effingham Unit 40 School District. Jim worked in the assembly department for the Oliver Corporation in Shelbyville and RR Donnelley Company in Mattoon. He was a customer service representative for World Color Corporation in Effingham. Jim owned and operated LeCrone’s Painting and Lawn Care Service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Jim is survived by his wife, Debbie LeCrone of Effingham; children, Lisa Corcoran of North Canton, Ohio, Jared B. (Maria) LeCrone of Mt. Vernon, Dana LeCrone of Effingham; grandchildren, Matthew James Corcoran, Patrick Corcoran, and Amelia Lynn LeCrone; brother, William E. LeCrone Jr. of Effingham; sisters, Judith A. (Steve) Maxwell of Marion, and Mary C. Hoskins of Carmi.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
