Harry Lee Orsborn (87) of Mattoon

Harry Lee Orsborn, 87, of Mattoon, Illinois, passed away at 12:01 P.M., Saturday, August 4, 2012, in his residence.
Harry was born March 1, 1925, in Effingham County, IL, the son of Henan U. and Lela N. ( Alwerdt ) Orsborn. He was a W.W. II Veteran serving in the United States Army, a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 4325, of Mattoon, IL, The American Legion of Mattoon, IL and a lifetime member of the Eagles Club of Mattoon, IL. He married Margaret Shobe in Cooks Mill, IL. Mr. Orsborn was a retired Owner/Operator of Orsborn Roofing of Mattoon, IL.
Harry leaves his wife Margaret of Mattoon, IL; three children, Karen Baker and husband Larry of Mattoon, IL, Rhonda Hadfield and husband Marty of St. Joseph, IL and Steven Fields of Town Country, MO; four grandchildren, Stacy Beals and husband Lynn of Trilla, IL, Bradley Hadfield and fiancé Whitney of St. Joseph, IL, Jesse Fields of St. Charles, MO and Taven Fields of St. Charles, MO; one brother, Russell Orsborn of Windsor, IL; one sister, Virginia Lauter and husband David of Mattoon, IL; two great granddaughters, Kaylee and Lindsey Beals of Trilla, IL.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Charles and John Orsborn; three sisters, Rita Matteson, Leta Waymack and Lorene Vibbert.
Harry was a very dedicated and active member of the V.F.W. Post 4325 in Mattoon, IL and greatly enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Memorials may be made to the Mattoon V.F. W. Post 4325, or The Lincoln Land Hospice of Mattoon, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2012, in the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, IL with the Rev. Jim Maroon of Neoga, IL officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens of Mattoon, IL. with Military Services conducted by the Mattoon V.F.W. Post 4325, Mattoon, Illinois.
