Leo H. Volk, 74, of Ingraham died Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 26 at 10am at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin with Reverend Father Mark Stec officiating, with burial with full military rites at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8pm Friday at the church. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born April 21, 1940 in Jasper County, the son of Henry and Mary (Kuenstler) Volk. He married Annette Kocher on November 11, 1963 in Olney. He was in the Army Reserves from 1961 to 1967. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Olney and American Legion in Ste. Marie, and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Volk of Ingraham...one son, Steven Volk and wife Theresa of Newton...three daughters, Mary Ann Brown and husband Charles of Sullivan, Donna Geiser and husband Tim of Bluffton, Indiana, and Kristi Sandschafer and husband Eric of Newton...14 grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Christina, Paul Brown, Mareah, Henry, Aaron Volk, Matthew, Mark, Elizabeth Geisel, Virginia, Amy, Victor, and Gregory Sandschafer...and two brothers, Raymond Volk and wife Dolores of Tuscola and Herman Volk and wife Mary of Claremont.
He was preceded in death by his parents...brothers, Lawrence Volk and Bernard Volk...and sister, Josephine Kocher.
