Brenda, the first of three children born to Clifford "Buck" and Gloria Ann (Fritscher) Adams of Dieterich, IL, was born August 5, 1953 in Effingham, IL. Brenda attended school in Dieterich and graduated from Dieterich High School in 1971. She continued her education briefly attending nursing school in Olney, IL, and later worked as the librarian in Dieterich's school library and at World Color Press in Effingham, IL. After starting her family, they moved to Minnesota where Brenda earned her histology technicians degree. Soon after, the family moved to Michigan where she was employed at MPI Research in Mattawan, MI as a technician in 1994 and more recently as a trainer. MPI Research and her colleagues celebrated her 20th anniversary with MPI this past March 2014.

Brenda moved from her Dieterich home many years ago and friends and family all have their own special memories of her. Those of us who knew her remember not only a quiet, smart and pretty girl with blue eyes and long blonde hair, but also a woman with intelligence and determination to succeed at life, her smile and wicked sense of humor, and the laughter we shared together over the years.

Brenda is survived by her parents, Clifford and Gloria Ann Adams of Dieterich, IL; her daughter, Danielle Adams of Dieterich, IL and grandchildren: Reanon Adams-Laws and Karma JoAnn Moulton both of Dieterich, IL; her son, Rueban (Sarah) Risley and grandchildren: Kloe Risley and Reece Risley all of Maple, WI; her son, Melvin (Kallia) Risley of Superior, WI; her sister, Laura (Bill) Glover of Effingham, IL; and her sister, Jan (Jim) Williams of Lake Monticello, VA. She is further survived by her niece, Jennifer Wilson of Los Angeles, CA; and nephew, James (Tondra) Nagle of Vincennes, IN; and nephew, Tyler (Monica) Williams of Cary, North Carolina; and great-nephew, Theren Nagle of Vincennes, IN; and her cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Grant and Louise (Jacobs) Fritscher, Fred and Myrtle Ann (Gross) Adams, and niece, Stephanie Donsbach all formerly of Dieterich, IL.
