Micheal Douglas Bishop, 40, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at his home in Mason.
 
Funeral services will be Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11:30 a. m. at Hall Funeral Chapel in Effingham with Pastor Charlene Evans officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a. m.-11:30 a. m. before the service, also at the chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Effingham. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Micheal was born July 23, 1973 in Dover, Delaware the son of Douglas R. and Brenda K. (Davis) Bishop.
 
Micheal enjoyed fishing, billards and darts and was a member of the Pool League at TIPS Bar in Altamont.  He had an unconditional love for Kaylie, Will and Jake.
 
He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Brenda of Mason, siblings; Forrest D. (Sami) Bishop of Gravel Switch, KY, Amanda (Adam) Krause of Salem, Johnathon D. Bishop of Mason, niece; Kaylie Krause and nephew; Will O'Bryan, special friend; Jake, grandparents; George and Mary Bishop of Cheswold, Delaware and Dean Chesnut of St. Joseph, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
 
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Jessie E. Chesnut.
