Community Calendar

The 13th Annual Plainfield Church Car Show will be held on Sunday, July 12 at Plainfield Church. Cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, jeeps and special interests are welcome. This year's show promises something for not only the car enthusiast but for everyone in the family. An informal, outdoor church service with Pastor Rick Britton is set for 10am along with special music, a hula hoop contest, goodie bags, prizes, games and a cake walk planned throughout the day. Food will be available on site along with free ice creams and watermelon. 

Registration for the car show will be accepted that day from 9am-12pm with a $10 entry fee. More than 25 awards will be presented at 2pm, including two new best of class prizes. Proceeds will benefit the Plainfield Church building fund. Plainfield Church is located 1/4 mile east of Rose Hill, off Highway 130.
