Doing some Spring cleaning and getting rid of clutter? Those items could be "someone else's treasure." The Effingham County Humane Society would like to have your gently used items for their GIANT GARAGE SALE, which will be held on May 29, May 30, and May 31 at their facility, 12073 N. 1000th Rd. The shelter is located at the old Funkhouser School, which is 4 miles west of Effingham. They are currently accepting donated items from Noon to 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Items can also be brought from 11am to 3pm on Saturdays.

Items that CANNOT be accepted include: chemicals, computer equipment, TV's, paint, tires, or anything broken or with missing pieces. The GIANT GARAGE SALE will be held from 12 noon to 6 p. m. on Friday, May 29, 9 a. m. to 4 p. m. on Saturday (with a half-price sale starting at 12 noon to 4pm), May 30, and a bag sale ($5/bag) from 12pm to 3 pm on Sunday, May 31. There will be NO EARLY SALES.

All funds raised at this sale will be used for the care and upkeep of the pets that are waiting their forever homes at the Effingham County Humane Society. All donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law as ECHS is a 501(3) not-for-profit organization.
