Registration for Effingham Junior Hearts Football League will be held at the Effingham High School Hearts Rock Cafe Tuesday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 24 from 5-7 p.m. or Sunday, June 14 from 1-3 p.m.

To participate in the league you must be at least nine years old and entering the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh or eighth grades and cannot exceed 15 years of age as of October 1, 2015.

Bring a copy of your birth certificate, copy of your sports physical, emergency contact information and registration fee to the registration. Unit 40 will offer sports physicals June 1 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the EHS Gym.

Registration fees for football players and cheerleaders are $100 for one child, $175 for two children from the same family, $225 for three children from the same family, $250 for four children from the same family and $50 for mascots. 

Important dates are: July 18 -- Equipment handed out, July 20-24 -- Camp dates, July 27 -- Practice begins.
