Community Calendar

The Effingham County Animal Control will hold an Adoption Drive Saturday, November 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Village Square Mall in the hallway in front of the old Rural King entrance. The adoption fees will be reduced from $90 to $35 which includes the cost of the spay-neuter and microchip.

There will be cupcakes, puppy chow and door prizes. There also will be homemade dog biscuits for the dogs as well. Everyone who stops by to see the animals can enter for door prizes donated by local businesses and everyone who adopts a pet that day will be entered for a special door prize.
