On Thursday, March 13 there will be a Public Town Hall Meeting beginning at 6:30pm to discuss; 1% School Facility Sales Tax Referendum and the State's Proposal of a Progressive Tax. The meeting will be held at the Effingham Emergency Operations Building, 311 Miracle Drive, South Rt. 45, behind Auto Mall. Keynote speakers will be: Bruno Behrend, senior fellow, Heartland David From, executive director of Americans For Prosperity (via Skype), also Travis Akins of AFP. Bring your questions for discussion. |
