The 31st Annual Zion Hog Roast at Zion Lutheran Church, 5534 E. 600th Avenue, Altamont, willl be held Sunday, March 16. Serving starts at 4:30 p.m. The menu includes BBQ pork and baked beans, prepared by Doug McCain using his BBQ sauce, baked potato, chips, applesauce, orange drink, tea and coffee, pies and desserts. There will be bulk BBQ pork for sale for $4 a pound. This is for a free will offering. Proceeds will go to Lutheran Care Center and Zion Lutheran Church.
