Community Calendar

There will be a Youth Bird Hunt for ages 10-16 wanting to experience quail and pheasant hunting Saturday, November 2 at the farm of Dan Hecht near Iola, about 20 minutes south of Effingham. There will be clay pigeons for warm up and instruction. There will be fields for first timers as well as fields for the experienced. Those attending need a hunting license and a gun safety course is preferred.

Phone to register at 217-342-4111 and ask for Dan Hecht. Need to register so they can adjust how many are attending in the morning or afternoon.
