The Annual Stewardson Lions Club Homecoming is scheduled Friday, August 23-Sunday, August 25.
Saturday Activities:
Weigh-in for the tractor pull, 9 a.m.
Tractor Pull, 10 a.m.
Food, soft drinks and beer will be available on the grounds. Admission is $3 for adults, those 12 and under are free.
Craft Vendors in the park on West Main St., 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
Mechanical bull, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at the park.
Lions food stand, 10 a.m.
Inflatable activities, 1-10:30 p.m.
Kids’ games will be held at the ballpark on W. South 4th St., 4 p.m. Activities return to the village park for Saturday night.
Demonstration by students from Larson’s Karate, 6-7 p.m.
Musical entertainment by Loudon Country, 7-10 p.m.
Bingo, 7-11 p.m.
Food concessions bounce houses both nights.
Sunday's Activities:
Garden tractor pull at the tractor pull site. Weigh-in begins noon and pulling begins at 1 p.m.
Miss Stewardson coronation, 2 p.m.
Following the coronation will be the raffle drawings. One raffle features an AR-15. Tickets for the AR-15 raffle are $10 each or 3 for $20 and may be purchased from any Lions Club member. The queen raffle features 121 prizes donated by the Lions Club and numerous area businesses. Tickets for the raffle are $1 each or a book of 25 for $20. These tickets may be purchased from any Lions Club member or any of the three queen candidates.
