Jasper County Chapter of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association will be holding a Porkburger Cook Out Friday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cookout will be held at the Newton Knights of Columbus Hall. Calls may be made to the Newton Knights of Columbus Hall for carryout orders at 783-2165. The porkburgers will cost $3 per burger. The proceeds are to provide college scholarships. |
