The Jasper County Soil and Water Conservation district is sponsoring a Fish Sale. Fish available are Black Crappie, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Albino Catfish, Fathead Minnows, Grass Carp, Hybrid Sunfish, Largemouth Bass and Redear Sunfish. If interested in placing an order to stock a pond, the order forms may be picked up at the Jasper County Soil and Water Conservation District office, located at 1403 Clayton Avenue in Newton. Fill out an order form and return it to the Jasper County SWCD office by Monday, April 15 for Grass Carp orders and  by Monday, April 22 for all other fish orders. The fish can be picked up at the Community Center parking lot Tuesday, April 30 at 11 a.m.
