St. John's Lutheran Church, 901 W. Jefferson in Effingham, offers a Midweek Service Wednesday during Lent. An abbreviated service will be held at 12:15 p.m. for those who do not want to drive at night or who want to use their lunch hour for a spiritual lift. Another service is held in the evening at 6:30 p.m.

Services are Wednesday, March 20 at 12:15 and 6:30 p.m.
