Altamont Preschool Screenings will be held Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15 from 9 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Altamont. A developmental screening will give parents information on the growth of their child in the areas of concepts, motor skills and language. The screening is a free service offered by the Altamont School District and Project H.E.L.P. and will last about one hour. Parents of children, ages birth to five, are encouraged to make an appointment for their child.
