Community Calendar

The Community Showcase at the Effingham County Fair has a great line-up of live demonstrations starting Sunday, July 31, thru Friday, August 5. 

There is a different presentation each day inside the Schuetzenfest building, once at 3:30 and again at 5:30.

Sunday, July 31 – Fancy Feet for Sewing presented by Mari Grupe from Schallert’s Sewing

Monday, August 1 – Floral Arranging for the Home Gardener presented by Faye Winter

Tuesday, August 2 – Jelly & Jams without using commercial pectin presented by Mary Liz Wright from the U of I

Wednesday, August 3 – Just Say Cheese – How to Make Cheese presented by Bailey Wolff

Thursday, August 4 – Creating a Rain Garden presented by U of I Master Gardeners

Friday, August 5 – Fat Free Quilting with Jelly Rolls & Layer Cakes presented by Crystal Habing
