St. Mary's Catholic Church, 304 Fourth Street, Shumway will host the Monday, October 15 Prayer Vigil For Life. Praying the Scriptural Rosary will begin at 6 p.m. The holy sacrifice of Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m The business meeting will be conducted in the lower level of the church. Pro-famiy legislation, information on candidates for the upcoming election and information about local pro-life events will all be on the evening's agenda. A library of pro-life literature, letter and bumper stickers, jewelry, book marks, etc. will be made available. Refreshments will be served and Rev. David Hoelfer, pastor, and Donna Davis, pro-life rep for St. Mary's, invite all denominations to join in prayer to return respect for all life.
