Community Calendar

Sunday, October 7, is Respect Life Sunday. Pro-Life supporters are invited to gather in the Effingham Sacred Heart Parish Center at 1:30 p.m. for an Ecumenical prayer service and to pick up right-to-life signs. A human life chain will be formed from 2-3 p.m. at the corner of Fayette and Henrietta streets in Effingham to support life.

This is a family-friendly event to encourage the choosing of life, and an opportunity to pray for all unborn babies and the families affected by abortion.
 
All faiths are invited and encouraged to attend Respect Life Sunday, and to stand up in support of life! Refreshments will be served in the Sacred Heart Parish Center at 3 p.m.
