Earth Day Events at Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library

Plant for Earth Day takes place on Saturday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m. in the Children’s Department of the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library. Drop in to the Children’s Programming Room to pot a plant and take it home in honor of Earth Day. Plants will be provided by the Master Gardeners of Effingham. No registration required.

Children can learn how Less is More with Composting on Monday, April 23 at 4 p.m. in the Children’s Programming Room. Join us at the library to play games, make a craft, and learn about saving energy and resources, recycling, and composting. This event is for children ages 4-7. Registration is required.

Composting 101 with Effingham Recycles and Brenda Roedl will take place on Monday, April 23 at 6 p.m. in the Workman Room. Come learn about composting and all its benefits with Brenda Roedl presenting. This programs is for adults and registration is required.
