There will be an open house at the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library on Friday, September 15 from 1 to 2 p.m. to celebrate the library completing 2 years in their new building. The library which is located at 200 N. Third Street will have punch, cookies and giveaways to celebrate all that has been achieved over the last 2 years in the new building. The celebration will take place on the first floor of the library. Children can decorate their cup and a hat with a Dr. Seuss Thing 1 and Thing 2 theme, they can also get their picture taken at a Thing 1 Thing 2 Photo Stand.
