The Hobnob Harvest Market – a unique vintage & handmade shopping event – will be back at the Effingham County Fairgrounds in Altamont, Illinois, on September 8 & 9. The wonderful vintage & handmade vendors who come from all over the Midwest make this market special – you never know what great old finds you’ll stumble on or what creative handmade piece will catch your eye.

Vintage styles found at the market range from farmhouse to industrial to midcentury to primitive. Handmade goods include jewelry, imaginative home décor, spa-style bath goodies, and sweet children’s accessories. Market-goers will be inspired by all the magazine-worthy displays. Hobnob vendors are top-notch display artists and each booth is set up like a miniature shop with a distinct, creative style.  

The Hobnob Market offers a Hold Station inside the market to stash furniture pieces you’ve bought plus big or heavy items. Purchases can be held for as long as you’re shopping and then you can drive right up to the Hold Station building to load. There will be porters on hand to help you carry & load.

Delicious food including barbecue, American egg rolls, gourmet pizza, & baked goods will be available at the market along with lots of other treats plus wine, beer, and caramel apple sangria by Tuscan Hills Winery.

The Prairie Moon Party - Friday, September 8 from 2-7 pm Central

An earlybird shopping party! Enjoy first-dibs on all the one-of-a-kind vintage & handmade pieces at the market. The Do-Overs will be playing and you can sip a drink while you shop.

Tickets: $10 per person in advance (available @hobnobmarket on Facebook or www.hobnobmarket.com)

$15 per person at the gate on party night

Market Day - Saturday, September 9 from 9 am - 4 pm Central

A fun day full of great finds, lots of laughter & friends, food, music, & giveaways.

Admission: $5 per person at the gate or FREE with a Friday night ticket

(Children 12 and under are free both Friday night and Saturday.)
