Chapter 16 of the Experimental Aircraft Association is hosting a Pulled Pork Lunch this coming Sunday (8/27/17) from 11:00-3:00 pm. The Lunch is open to the public and will be held at the Shumway “Inner” National) Airport. The Airport is located 7 miles west of Effingham on Route 33 just ¼ mile west of the Shumway curve. Donations from the lunch will support EAA projects including their Young Eagles Program. The Young Eagles Program gives free introductory flights to youth between the ages of 8 and 17. It looks like the weather is going to be good, so there should be lots of airplanes flying in, plenty of good food, and lots of f un for everyone. For more information call 217-821-2868. |
