Knights of Columbus News The Mr. and Mrs. Jack Koester Memorial March for Life – K of C International Day of Prayer for the Unborn Child IS BACK ON and will be held on March 25 starting at 3:00 p.m. The March will begin at the Cross at the Crossroads and will proceed East on Pike Avenue and then North on Raney Street ending at the Effingham K of C Hall and Sacred Heart Church. PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED TO STAY ON THE SIDEWALK. The ADULT FLASHLIGHT EASTER EGG HUNT will also be on March 25 at the Effingham Event Center ( K of C Hall). This is a PRO-LIFE FUNDRAISER and it will be a lot of FUN! Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with a cash bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres provided. The egg hunt begins at 8:00 p.m. with prizes awarded afterwards. The Effingham Knights of Columbus will be doing a FISH FRY on April 7 from 4:30 to 7:30. The funds for this are ear-marked for PRO-LIFE so please join us. The menu includes beer battered cod, fries, grilled cheese, slaw, drink. Prices range from $8 for adults to $3 for kids.
