The Friends of the Charleston Carnegie Public Library will hold its “Date with a Good Book” sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, February 10 and from 10 a.m. to

5 p.m. Saturday, February 11 at the Charleston Carnegie Public Library, 712 Sixth Street. The book sale room is located on the second floor of the Library, off of the Reading Room. Please enter through the main entrance on 5^th Street and follow the signs to the sale. The Library is handicapped accessible.

Featured at this sale are a large selection of romance novels just in time for Valentine’s Day. There’s also a large selection of sale books for 25¢.

Hardcover books, audio books, DVDs and vinyl records are $2. Paperback books, children’s books, music CDs, puzzles and games are 50¢. Members of the Friends of the Charleston Carnegie Public Library receive a 50% discount on their purchases. You can become a Friends member at the sale.

For easier shopping, the books are sorted into categories such as Mystery, Romance, Sci-fi/Fantasy, Hobbies & Crafts, History, Inspiration, Biography, Cookbooks, Sports, Gardening, Classics, and Children’s books. We accept cash or checks.

All proceeds from the Friends’ book sale supports programming at the Charleston Carnegie Public Library.
