A Smart Energy Workshop will be hosted at the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library in partnership with Faith in Place and Centenary United Methodist Church on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 10 a.m. in the Workman Room. 

Understanding energy incentives, rebates, hourly pricing, and alternative energy suppliers offered by utility companies can be confusing.

Christina Krost of Faith in Place and Scott Allen of Citizen’s Utility Board will explain how to take advantage of these programs to save money and maximize energy efficiency.

This Smart Energy Workshop will teach individuals how they can decrease their energy consumption, reduce bills, and be a good steward the environment.
