Community Calendar

The Effingham County Home and Community Education Association along with Fayette, Clay and Jasper Counties H.C.E. organizations will be presenting a very informative  “Human Trafficking Awareness Program on Saturday, October 29 at the Watson United Methodist Church, 1300 E US Route 37, Watson, IL. The program will go from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.  A free light lunch will be provided.

Speakers from homes and organizations that give help and assistance to victims will tell their experiences associated with human trafficking and the bondage, bartering and selling of humans for a profit.  Also, a survivor will share her personal experiences.

This program is open to the public, no pre-registration, no admission fee.
