The Southeastern Illinois Chapter of The Compassionate Friends will sponsor a special candlelighting service Sunday, December 9 beginning at 6:45 p.m. to remember the children that have been lost. It will be at the St. Thomas Parish Center, 306 W. Jourdan Street in Newton, just east of the Catholic Church. The event will consist of special music, readings and the candlelighting. Refreshments will follow after the program. Everyone in the area is welcome. |
