Ghostly fun at Lincoln presidential museum

‘Spooktacular’ on Oct. 19 features haunted exhibits, storytelling and games

Creepy characters will take over the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum on Oct. 19 for the annual “Spooktacular Evening with Abe,” a night of games, music and costumes to welcome the Halloween season.

People of all ages can enjoy creepy characters “haunting” the museum, eerie lighting and special effects, music and refreshments.

There are also crafts and games, prizes, a DJ and a photo booth. New this year will be ghost stories and haunted fairytales for all ages!

Refreshments will be provided, and the museum gift shop will be open during the evening.

The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, and wraps up at 8:30. The event, sponsored by Illinois National Bank, is free for members of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation and their guests. For others, it’s just $10 for the whole family.
