National Craft Month

March is National Craft Month. Join us at the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library as we celebrate.

Little ones are welcome all month at any time to complete self-guided crafts at the craft table in the Children’s Department.

Families and caregivers with children are invited to attend the Dr. Seuss Movie Make and Take Friday, March 2nd at 1 p.m. in the Workman Room.  Crafts will begin at 1 p.m. and followed at 1:30 Dr. Seuss’ Cat in the Hat (PG, 82 minutes).

Teens can create their own ear bud cases during Teen Tech Week, March 5th through 10th in the Teen Department. Materials will be provided.

Adults are invited to register for an Introduction to Quilting Class which will be held on Saturday, March 10th in the Bauer Computer Lab from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Registration is required. Those registered will receive further instructions about what materials and equipment they should bring to the class. 

Opportunities for adults to try new crafts continue with the Adult Make and Take on Monday, March 12th in the Bauer Computer Lab at 10 a.m. Materials will be provided.

Finally, learn to Knit or Crochet with the experts of the Effingham Knitters Group on March 20th at 6 p.m. in the Luttrell Meeting Room.  Registration is required.
