The trial of Mark Fulk on a charge of solicitation of murder for hire has been continued until April.

The 35-year-old Fulk is charged in Fayette County with attempting to hire someone to kill his wife.  He was arrested last April and has remained in custody in Fayette County Jail under $3 million bond.

During a court hearing Wednesday, a delay in the start of the trial was granted.  The delay was charged to Fulk, but both sides requested the continuance in the trial, which was to begin February 24.

All subpoenas pending in the case were continued.  The prosecution's motion to quash the subpoenas was denied, subject to a protective order.  The contents of documents related to the trial will be disclosed to Fulk's attorney, Lou Viverito, and to Fayette County State's Attorney Josh Morrison.  The defense is attempting to hire an expert regarding the items disclosed in the documents.  Once the expert is hired, permission will be sought from the trial judge to allow the expert to review the documents.

A pre-trial hearing in the case was scheduled for March 20.
