Most roads in the region still have scattered slick spots, if they're not still snow- and ice-covered.

The road conditions led to collisions on I-70 westbound, about a mile west of Greenup this morning. State police said four vehicles were involved in the crash.  Reportedly, semis collided and then a car ran into one stopped semi and another semi rear-ended another stopped rig.

The impact when the rig rear-ended another semi pushed the cab of the following rig back up against the trailer it was pulling.  The impact when the car struck the semi impacted the length of the passenger side of the car.

Remarkably, no serious injuries resulted from the crashes.  The semi driver was taken for a cut on his head and the driver of the car was taken for examination.

The roadway is open, but work will be going on to remove the vehicles involved in the crashes.
