The Teutopolis Board of Education Monday took action on several personnel matters.

The Board accepted resignations from Jordan Pals as frosh/soph boys baseball coach and frosh/soph boys basketball coach, from Phil Repking as girls golf coach, and from Cheryl Heuerman as Teutopolis Junior High secretary.

The Board hired Mike Hoene as a fulltime bus driver and Andy Fehrenbacher as girls varsity golf coach, and approved the callback of Linda Kreke into a cook's position.  It was also agreed to advertise these positions...frosh/soph boys basketball coach, frosh/soph spring baseball coach, JV softball coach, three-hour cook and school secretary.

Board members voted to make a change in the high school band room project, agreeing to remove the windows on the east side and blocking in the area.  Administrator and teacher salary reports were approved; several policy changes were approved for second reading and were adopted; and the Board voted to discontinue any reimbursement to Health Occupations students who meet grade requirements.

The Board approved a change in the junior high athletic policy regarding when an athlete is part of two teams; discussed Kindergarten class sizes and the possibility of adding a section but took no action; and discussed ways to combine the high school Honors Night and graduation ceremonies, but no action was taken.

Board members further discussed the high school band room project as well as an oven installation project at the grade school, and again reviewed Easter Weekend sports schedules.
