Rotary International Food Fair Sunday

Effingham Sunrise and Noon Rotary Clubs will be hosting an International Food Fair on Sunday, April 29 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM at Sacred Heart Grade School Gym. This event is a fundraiser supporting the Rotary projects to benefit children in Guatemala and Nepal. Representatives for each of these causes, Ted Keller and Eric Luedtke will have displays at the Fair with details and information.

The fair will showcase food from all over the world, including Italian by Joe’s Pizza & Pasta, Pizza Man, Hilton Garden Inn and Diane Siemer; Mexican by El Rancherito; Central American by the Latin Community & Shirley Bartels; Chinese by China Buffet and Panda Express; Thai by Bangkok Thai Restaurant; Turkish and Finnish by Rosemary Gibbons; Indian by Sunil & Shilpa Maheshwari; Brazilian by Diana Siemer; Ugandan by Carrie Crippen and American by TGI Fridays, Deb’s Catering, Martin’s IGA, Cookies-to-Go, Abby Marten and Beverly Soltwedel. Party Worx and Walmart are helping out with paper supplies.

Fair tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 5-11 and children under 5 are free. There will also be raffle items as well as silent auctions. Tickets are available now from any Sunrise or Noon Rotarian, and will be available at the door.
