Minor Injuries in Three-Vehicle Crash in Altamont

Minor injuries resulted from a three-vehicle crash in Altamont Friday morning.

The crash happened at 9:46am at the intersection of Washington and Edwards.  Effingham County sheriff's deputies said vehicles driven by 55-year-old Kenneth Fritcher of Altamont and 25-year-old Kaitlin Robinson of Neoga collided in the intersection.  The impact forced Fritcher's vehicle into a unit driven by 32-year-old Donald Morris of Altamont.

Sheriff's Sergeant Paul Kuhns said the drivers were treated at the scene for minor injuries, but declined further treatment.  There were no citations issued.
