The pension reform bill is likely headed to court.

Union leaders have vowed to sue, saying it's unconstitutional because it reduces their workers' retirement benefits.  State Treasurer Dan Rutherford says he hopes the courts will issue an expedited ruling on the matter.

Both the State House and Senate passed the bill yesterday that raises the retirement age, changes how much state employees can claim for the calculation of their benefits, and allows some workers to start a private retirement plan.
