Police Investigating Smashed Window Incidents

Effingham city police are investigating four reports of windows being smashed in vehicles and buildings.
A window valued at $600 was damaged at Leisure Times at 1205 West Jefferson sometime between 6pm Saturday and 3pm Monday.
Two windows at a property owned by Richard Kabbes of Effingham at 109 East Fayette were damaged sometime prior to 7:31am Monday. Each window is valued at $300.
Nine windows valued at $350 were damaged at a property owned by IDOT at 111 East Fayette. The damage occurred sometime prior to 8:10am Monday.
Criminal damage was done to a vehicle owned by Justin Ethridge of Effingham while it was parked near 111 East St. Anthony. A piece of concrete was thrown through the back window sometime between 9pm Sunday and 8:38am Monday. The window was valued at $200.
