City Police Investigating Residential Burglary

Effingham city police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred Monday night.  The burglars made off with a vehicle and two weapons.

The break-in occurred in the 800 block of Hickory Hill Drive at about 10:30pm.  Items stolen include a television valued at $1,000, a shotgun valued at $700, a pistol worth $400, a chainsaw valued at $800, a hedge trimmer worth $400, and the vehicle, a maroon-colored 2007 Ford Tracker truck, which is valued at $14,000.
