The woman found dead at her residence in Effingham on October 30 has been publicly identified.

The next-of-kin of 64-year-old Gloria Tipsword were reached on Sunday and made aware of her death.

Tipsword was found unresponsive by friends at her residence in the 100 block of Hendelmeyer Avenue in the afternoon hours on the 30th.  Effingham County Coroner Duane Guffey responded to the scene and pronounced Tipsword dead.  No foul play is suspected.

An autopsy was conducted October 31 to help determine the cause of death.  A final autopsy report with toxicology tests is still pending.
