Annual Halloween Parade a Huge Success

The Effingham Halloween Parade for 2013 was a huge success.

The almost two-hour-long procession featured many bands, lots of costumes and plenty of candy. The parade was sponsored again this year by Effingham Sunrise Rotary.

Here are the parade winners:

2nd Place: Pack #335 Cub Scouts/Girl Scouts

3rd Place: First Church of God

JUNIOR HIGH BAND

2nd Place: Sacred Heart

3rd Place: Altamont

HIGH SCHOOL BAND

1st Place: Altamont

3rd Place: Stew-Stras/Windsor

For those winners who haven't already, plaques for first place winners and certificates for all others may be picked up at the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce offices on Keller Drive.
