Teutopolis Village Board Takes Further Action on Water Line Project

Teutopolis village board members Wednesday took further action on construction of a water transmission line from Newton to the village.

The Board approved an engineering agreement with Connor and Connor Engineers to oversee the project.  The firm will receive a percentage of the project cost.

Board members also approved providing for compensation for easements along the path of the water line.

The Board also met in closed session and then agreed to advertise for a street maintenance worker.
