Two people were injured in a crash in Clay County Thursday.

The crash occurred at 7:50am at Big Four Road and Wilcox Bridge Lane, three miles south of Clay City.  State police say a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Natasha Prather of Clay City ran a stop sign into the intersection and collided with a pickup truck driven by 56-year-old Michael Beals of Stewardson.

Prather and her passenger, 17-year-old Brendan Tanner of Clay City, were both injured and were taken to Clay County Hospital in Flora.

Prather was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
