The trial of area resident Mark Fulk who is charged with allegedly trying to hire someone to kill his wife has been postponed until December.

The 35-year-old Fulk was in Fayette County Circuit Court Wednesday for a pre-trial hearing.  At the hearing, the prosecution presented material to comply with a defense request for additional items.  The defense is expected to comply with a prosecution request for similar materials.

Once presented the supplemental material, defense attorney Lou Viverito asked for a continuance of Fulk's trial to the December 9 trial calendar.  Assistant State's Attorney Amanda Ade-Harlow did not object so the continuance was granted by Judge James Roberts.

Fulk is alleged to have offered a man cash and merchandise if he would kill Fulk's wife.

The case is scheduled back in court on October 11 for another pre-trial hearing.
