Neoga school board members have accepted Kevin Haarman's resignation as teacher and coach.  Haarman was recently hired as high school principal at Dieterich.

The Board authorized Superintendent Charles Castle to hire personnel for summer maintenance positions and to advertise positions open due to transfers, resignations or to staff positions in grant-funded programs, and finalized administrative salaries for the coming year.

Board members approved paying for Workers Compensation coverage; discussed annexation of property as it concerns the Regional Office of Education; and approved Bill Steichman as delegate and Mark Livingston as alternate to the Eastern Illinois Area Special Education Board.

The Board heard from Bill Albin, who asked that the District consider a donated building in which to store sports equipment at the middle school, and heard from Neoga Booster Club Vice-President Brad Keck who gave an update on membership and reviewed donations made during the past school year.

Neoga board members also voted to carpet four rooms and to hold off on the office area, and discussed possible changes to the high school common study hall.
