The Helen Matthes Library has announced the second phase of its fundraising campaign. The Library is inviting 130 new donors at the $500 level or greater to pledge their support before the end of September as the Library continues toward its $2 million dollar goal.
Amanda McKay, library director, noted: “As of August, we have met 17% of our fundraising goal. We know the library is touching lives and providing services and resources that are important to Effingham. So we are asking donors to come forward and support us as we get ready to put the construction phase out to bid.”
